Ironclad Creative is a Community Interest Company - a not-for-profit built by and for storytellers.
Everything we do is shaped by our desire to create home, community and inspiration for writers and makers.
From Writers’ Spaces and retreats, to publications and theatre bursaries, workshops and coffee mornings, we’re on a mission to support storytelling. We believe in the power, the hope, and the inspiration storytellers can bring to the world when they’re given the chance to create.
As a neurodivergent-led organisation, we especially want to support those who have additional barriers to the creative industry, and those who are on low incomes.
We don’t receive regular public funding.
All of our work is made possible through one-off grants, unpaid hours from our founders, and the sheer will of our wonderful volunteers.

Creative Cauldron Member
£12 per month / £144 Annually
For creatives who value what we do and want to support us each month. This membership helps sustain the heart of Ironclad, from running regular virtual writing spaces to covering everyday costs that make it all possible. It helps keep the lights on and keep us going!

Story-maker
£25 per month
For people who want to help keep our creative events like the Virtual Writers’ Space and community projects like the Creative Catch-up going strong. Your support helps us pay facilitators, print resources, and keep our spaces free and welcoming for those who need them most.

Community Builder
£100 per month
Your support helps power our public-facing work, from our short story competitions, to free and low-cost events like the Virtual Writers’ Space and Creative Catch-up. You’re shaping the future of our creative community, making it possible for more creatives to network, develop and thrive.

Business Champion
£500 per month
If you’re an organisation or business owner, your support will help us pilot new projects, expand our reach, and build Ironclad to be sustainable for the long-term. This is for you if you’re ready to support a neurodivergent-led cultural organisation.
